Who are the favorites to win the PGA Championship at Valhalla? Can Tiger make a return?
The 2024 PGA Championship starts on the 16th of May, with the best in men's golf fighting it out for the Wanamaker Trophy at Valhalla in Kentucky.
Here are the players with the best chance of winning that trophy and the second major championship of the year on the 19th of May.
World number one Scottie Scheffler has dominated the PGA Tour in 2024, having four wins in ten starts. Scheffler has already won the Players Championship and The Masters last month. For many, it's Scheffler's to lose.

The Golf website reports Scheffler has four of his last five tournaments, with his only 'loss' being a second-place finish. If the American wins the Wanamaker, there could be real shouts of a potential grand slam on the cards.
Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy has found his groove entering the second major of the year, winning the Zurich Classic alongside Shane Lowry and claiming a dominant five-shot victory at the Wells Fargo Championship last time out.
The back-to-back victories mean McIlroy comes to Valhalla with the same results streak as he did a decade ago, when he claimed the Wanamaker Trophy by one shot. Is it a good omen? Can he finally win his fifth major title?
This year has been a breakout year for Max Homa on the PGA Tour, and his third-place finish at The Masters indicates that the American is building towards winning his first major title.
Homa had another strong showing at the Wells Fargo Championship last time out, finishing eighth with a score of -4, according to the PGA website. Homa always gives his all on the course, and if he's in the mix, he has a real shot at victory.
Since joining the LIV Golf Tour in June 2022, Brooks Koepka has rediscovered his form in major championships and comes into the PGA Championship as the reigning champion after winning by two strokes at Oak Hill last year.
According to ESPN, Koepka comes into the PGA Championship after winning his last LIV Tour event at LIV Golf Singapore on the 5th of May with a score of -15. He has a chance to join Phil Mickelson, Nick Faldo, and Lee Trevino with six major championships.

With four top-ten results in seven LIV Golf appearances this year, Bryson DeChambeau has been scaring a victory all season long, and he looks just around the corner from his second major championship win.
The big-hitting American led the Masters for a short while last month, posting a score of 65 in his opening round and eventually finishing sixth at the tournament's close. DeChambeau finished fourth at the PGA Championship last year, and his form shows he will be in the mix for victory.
Despite his loss of form, there is always excitement when Tiger Woods tees it up at an event, with the golfing GOAT back at the location where he won in 2000 as part of his 'Tiger Slam.'
Sky Sports reports Woods had a torrid time at The Masters in April, rounding his weekend off with scores of 82 and 77, showcasing his demise from all the bodily trouble over the years.
The 15-time major champion will never compete unless he believes he can roll back the years and win a major championship again, but does it seem too much? Valhalla will either make or break Woods at the 2024 PGA Championship.
Do you think it will be someone on this list who will win the PGA Championship? Or will an outside favorite steal the headlines and win the second major of the year?
