Shock move

Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne is considering a shock move to Saudi Arabia due to the 'incredible money' on offer in the Middle East.

Winning it all

Since joining in August 2015, the Belgian has become one of the greatest players in Premier League history, winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five Carabao Cups, One Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Cashing in

However, at almost 33 years old and not long left in his playing career, De Bruyne is looking at cashing in a mega check from the Middle East before his playing career is finished.

"Incredible amounts of money"

According to The Guardian, De Bruyne said: "At my age, you have to be open to everything. You're talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career."

"Play there for two years"

"If I play there (Saudi Arabia) for two years, I will be able to earn an incredible amount of money. Before that, I had to play football for 15 years. I may not even reach that amount yet."

Highest paid player in England

Like Guardiola, the attacking midfielder has one year left on his contract at Manchester City, but he is English football's highest-paid player, earning £400,000 (€469,000, $511,000) a week, the Guardian reports.

Family life

After staying at Manchester City for so long, the Belgian also has to deal with his wife and children, who are settled in Manchester.

"How long I will play for City"

The Independent reports De Bruyne said: "My eldest [son, Mason] is now eight years old and knows nothing but England. He also asks how long I will play for City. Once the moment comes, we will have to deal with it in a certain way."

Friends over there

De Bruyne already has some of his former Manchester City teammates in the Middle East, with Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte moving to Saudi Arabia last summer.

Will he leave this season?

With his contract set to expire in one year, could Manchester City do the unthinkable and sell De Bruyne this season to recoup a transfer fee?
