Kard-athletes: A look at the famous athletes who have dated a Kardashian

As a family, the Kardashians have certainly found themselves in a lot of relationships, with a surprising number of high-profile sportsmen involved along the way.

Reggie Bush was one of the most electric running backs in college football history and won a National Championship and Heisman Trophy (before it was stripped). Kim and Reggie dated for two years from  2007 to 2009.

Miles Austin spent most of his career as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys and is probably not the most prominent name on this list. Despite their relationship not lasting long, sources suggest it was the long distance and not any issues between them that caused the split.

Humphries was mostly a bit-part player during his basketball career but shot to fame after dating and then marrying Kim K. They managed to date, marry, and get divorced all in the space of a year, quite the effort from the two of them.

A seventh-round pick in 2004, Ward spent seven years in the NFL and briefly dated Khloe Kardashian way back in 2009 when they met in Mexico.

Despite marrying just one month after they met, the Khloe and Lamar relationship seemed to be real. Odom had a 14-year NBA career and it wasn’t until he had fully recovered from an overdose incident at a legal brothel that Khloe decided to divorce him, despite being split for three years at that point.

The first baseball player on the list, Khloe, and three-time All-Star Kemp were seen hanging out regularly in 2013 a brief fling perhaps, but continuing the Kard-athlete tradition.

By the time Fox and Khloe K dated, he had long been retired from the NBA, but he certainly still counts as a professional athlete. The two were seen on dates together in 2015.

James Harden is on his way to a Hall-of-Fame career in the NBA as one of the better players of his era. Back in 2015 and early 2016 he and Khloe were dating and Harden even offered his support through the divorce proceedings with Lamar Odom.

This is perhaps a stretch as they never exactly dated, but they were “flirting at a party” according to Us Weekly and that makes OBJ a Kard-athlete in our eyes.

After a very brief pitstop with an NFL player, it was back to the NBA for her where she met and eventually had a child with Tristan Thompson, the former fourth overall pick in the NBA draft. The two separated and got back together multiple times as Thompson continually got caught cheating on Khloe.

Chandler Parsons spent 9 years in the NBA and would not be a household name to many, but for a brief moment in 2014, he was all over TMZ as he was seen on a date with Kendall Jenner.

Perhaps another stretch here as Hamilton was quoted as saying, “Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we’re just friends”, but the two were seen hanging out regularly and Kendall was photographed wearing one of the seven-time world champion’s chains.

Clarkson was a teammate of Tristan Thompson when he started dating Kendall, meaning there were two Cleveland Cavaliers dating members of the Kardashian clan. The relationship didn’t last long but they did attend Coachella together.

For a time Griffin was amongst the best players in the NBA, with freakish hops allowing him to dunk from just about anywhere. He and Kendall dated for a good few months from 2017-2018.

Thought to be the player who would help the Sixers over the hump and into the promised land, Simmons has never quite clicked in the NBA, but has had a storied dating history of his own. This included a year-long, of and on again relationship with Kendall Jenner.

Whilst this fling was never confirmed to be anything more than that, the two were pictured together on a yacht during a Fourth of July weekend celebration. Kuzma is into his seventh year in the NBA, now with the Washington Wizards after beginning his career as a Laker.

Devin Booker is one of the most natural scorers in basketball at the moment, operating in a starring role for the Phoenix Suns. Alongside his basketball career, he spent nearly two years dating Kendall Jenner, only breaking up in November 2022.
