Daniel Ricciardo chastised: 'Why is he still in F1?'
Daniel Ricciardo has been around in F1 for a while and has become a well-known and famous face in the sport.
However, it's no secret that Ricciardo hasn't been the same driver since he left Red Bull in 2019 and has struggled to adapt to change. Ultimately, due to poor performance, he lost his place on the grid in 2022 after a tough spell with McLaren.
The eight-time Formula One race winner has since been the Red Bull reserve driver in 2023 and secured his spot again on the grid with Red Bull feeder team RB, but results haven't been good enough.

According to Planet F1, Ricciardo was in line to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull, but Ricciardo has been poor, sitting behind his teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the Drivers' Championship, with the Aussie on nine points and Tsunoda on 19.
The 1997 Formula One world champion, Jacques Villeneuve, has slammed Ricciardo in a brutal attack on Sky Sports, asking why Ricciardo is still being given a chance at the pinnacle of racing.
The former champion said: "Why's he still in F1? Why? We are hearing the same thing now for the last four or five years. 'We have to make the car better for him'. Sorry, it's been five years of that. No, you are in F1."
"If you can't cut it, go home, there's someone else to take your place. That's how it's always been in racing, it's the pinnacle of the sport."
When Villeneuve was asked if Ricciardo was overrated, the champion said: "I think his image has kept him in F1 more than his actual results."
Since Villeneuve's attack on the Australian, Ricciardo raced in his 250th Grand Prix in Canada and had his best result of the season, finishing eighth and gaining four points.
Ricciardo hoped to return to the Red Bull team with Max Verstappen. However, that dream is all but over because Sergio Pérez signed a new two-year contract at the beginning of June.
