Alisha Lehmann was offered $100,000 to do what!?
Alisha Lehmann is one of the most well-known and acclaimed football players in the women's game.
With more than 15.5 million followers on Instagram, Aston Villa's Swiss forward has made a name for herself with her performance on the pitch but also with her life outside of the game.
Lehmann has found herself on magazine covers and in tabloid columns thanks to her romances with Douglas Luiz, one of Aston Villa men's key players, and also with Ramona Bachmann (on the left in the photo) – Lehmann's teammate in the Swiss national team.
Now, beyond her quality on the playing field and her romances, Alisha Lehmann is also known worldwide for her striking appearance.
This, coupled with her athletic prowess has made her a highly sought after ambassador for brands around the world.
Now, it is one thing for Alisha Lehmann to command big money to endorse an enterprise, but it turns out that one 'very famous person' was under the wrong impression it's more than just her image that's up for sale.
The Swiss footballer herself explained the situation in 'Dir Tea Talk' podcast, presented by the German recording artist Shirin David, where she recalled that someone offered her an obscene amount of money in exchange for what we are all thinking.
"An internationally famous man offered me 100,000 Swiss francs (£900k, $110k USD) in exchange for a night of passion in a hotel in Miami," the Aston Villa star revealed.
Lehmann said that she received a message on her cell phone to which she did not respond. After not hearing back from her, the person in question then sent the proposal to Lehmann's bodyguard in the hopes of persuading her.
"The messages came from a very well-known person and, on top of that, I knew him before because we had already met at another event." But what exactly did the message say?
"I will pay Alisha 100,000 Swiss francs to spend one night with her." Lehmann's response? "Only 100,000? No way."
The worst thing is that the famous man did not take no for an answer and, as the soccer player remembers, he continued to harass the bodyguard to encourage her to take up the deal.
The best of all? "I still have his messages on my phone. It's a bit stupid," she said.
"Is he a footballer?" asked an intrigued Shirin David (pictured), but Lehmann was clear about one thing: "I can't reveal his name but he is someone well-known internationally."
Lehmann's statements have outraged the footballer's millions of followers but, above all, not knowing who was responsible for the disrespectful and illicit proposal.
Will these messages see the light of day at some point? Time will tell. Maybe she's saving it for the memoirs...
