The greatest women’s UFC fighters of all time
Women have been competing in the UFC for just over ten years, and in that decade the women's division has created some of the greatest fighters of all time.
With over ten years of great battles and excellent fighters, here are the ten greatest female UFC fighters in history!
Mexican fighter Alexa Grasso is the current UFC Women's flyweight champion after beating legendary fighter Valentina Shevchenko in March 2023. The Mexican has a record of 16 wins and three losses, according to UFC Stats.

Holly Holm is the former UFC bantamweight and defeated Ronda Rousey for the title. In her prime, she was amongst the most feared fighters in the UFC, as reported by Odds Checker.
According to TSN, Miesha Tate is one of the pioneers of women's UFC and beat Holly Holm to win the bantamweight title. The 37-year-old headlined the iconic UFC 200 pay-per-view in a title defense against Amanda Nunes.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk won the strawweight title at UFC 185 and defended the title five times. She also stormed to 14 consecutive wins at the start of her career.
Milwaukee native Rose Namajunas is a two-time strawweight champion, defeating champions Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili at UFC 223 and UFC 268, and has a record of 12 wins and six losses, according to UFC Stats.
China's Zhang Weili is the current strawweight champion after defeating Amanda Lemos at UFC 292 with a dominant unanimous decision. The two-time champion fights Yan Xiaonan in an all-Chinese clash at UFC 300.
According to TSN, Cris Cyborg came into the UFC as one of the most dominant fighters, capturing the featherweight title in her third fight. She moved to Bellator in 2021 and is currently the featherweight champion at 38 years old.
Ronda Rousey is the most iconic female combat sport athlete in history and was the inaugural bantamweight champion in the UFC. She defeated Liz Carmouche, Sara McMann, Alexis Davis, Cat Zingano, and Bethe Correia in her title defenses.
As reported by TSN, Valentina Shevchenko had the most incredible run in the UFC flyweight division, defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk and then defending the title seven times before losing in March 2023.
The greatest UFC fighter in history is Amanda Nunes, one of four UFC fighters with two UFC titles simultaneously. She defended the bantamweight title six times and the featherweight title twice before vacating them upon retirement.
Nunes defeated five of the top ten women and has beaten every bantamweight title holder.
