The film opens on May 25, was directed by Edgar Wright and stars Anya-Taylor Joy, Thomasin McKenzie, Matt Smith, Diana Rigg and James Phelps.
The prequel to the classic Disney film '101 Dalmatians' shows Emma Stone in the role of Cruella de Vil. Craig Gillespie directs the film which also features Emma Thompson and Paul Walter Hauser.
It was to be released in 2020 but it will be May 28, 2021 when Emily Blunt and John Krasinski return to 'A quiet place.' However, Krasinki is focusing on direction and Cillian Murphy will be the main character.
Finally, after years of waiting, the first Marvel film with a superheroine in the lead will arrive on May 7th. The director is Cate Shortland.

'The French Dispatch' is Wes Anderson's latest film. It may be one of the best films of the year. In a journalistic office, three parallel stories unfold with Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Benicio del Toro, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Jeffrey Wright, Owen Wilson, and Bill Murray.
James Gunn takes the reins of the franchise to relaunch 'The Suicide Squad' and he does so by setting aside Jared Leto and embracing Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, and Jai Courtney. In addition to these names, the star-filled cast also features Pete Davidson, Steve Agee, Peter Capaldi, Nathan Fillon, John Cena and Juan Diego Botto. The long-awaited release is on August 6.
Denis Villeneuve has directed one of the films most eagerly awaited in a long time. Based on Frank Herbert's novel of the same title, it will be released in October 2021. With J.K. Rowling's controversies still simmering, the third instalment of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is set to be released on November 12, 2021. This prequel to the Harry Potter saga follows the protagonists in World War II, a war in which they will be more involved than expected. Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp, Ezra Miller, and Jessica Williams head the cast.
'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' seeks to recover the ghostly saga and has Jason Reitman, the son of the first movies' director, as its leader. More familiar than previous Ghostbusters, and far from controversial, it is set to premiere on 12th March and features Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and, of course, Sigourney Weaver in its cast.
On August 6th, a film appears that is based on one of the most popular attractions in Disney's theme parks. Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are looking for a tree with healing properties. To get there, they must go through a jungle full of wild creatures. The movie was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
The 'Fast & Furious' saga will come to an end with its 11th edition, but fortunately there are still a few movies left. 'F9' will arrive in cinemas on May 28th. After a spectacular sixth instalment, Ethan Hunt and company appear in better shape than ever. We'll have to wait until November 19th, though, to see the new adventure. In any case, Tom Cruise has shot 'Impossible Mission 7 and 8' in one go, so there may be a double release in a very short time span next year. They may also be the last two movies of the saga.
'Minions: The Rise of Gru' is due to hit theaters in the middle of summer. On July 2, if all goes well, the assistant of Gru travel to the past to recount the origins of our favorite villain.

Another animated project for Netflix, this time in stop-motion, by Guillermo del Toro. Previously, del Toro made his successful 'Trollhunters', and now he has revisited the classic 'Pinocchio'. The movie features illustrious voice actors like Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Tilda Swinton, and Ron Perlman. The movie was postponed until 2022.
The 'Kingsman' franchise continues to work wonderfully. In this case, Matthew Vaughn is directing a story that goes into the past to recount the origin of the British secret service. Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson take the lead in the film.
'The Forever Purge' is the fifth and final chapter in a successful dystopian science fiction saga. On July 9 its protagonists will reappear again, to live 12 hours in which everything is allowed - even murder. Will Patton and Cassidy Freeman head the cast.
Tom Holland astonished his fans with his character photo of Nathan Drake. On July 16th, the famous video game will have its own film adaptation. If it works, which seems likely, it could be the beginning of a tremendous franchise. The director is Ruben Fleischer, while Antonio Banderas and Mark Wahlberg accompany Holland in the cast.
'Space Jam: A New Legacy' will arrive on 16 July. It resonates with the familiar debate of whether Lebron James is better than Michael Jordan. That battle will now make the jump to the movies, where Lebron already has some more experience, and he's joined by the Looney Tunes.
The latest 007 movie, and the last one with Daniel Craig, is set to premiere in the fall of 2021. Off goes the James Bond who was to many the best 007 ever. This time he will appear with Ana de Armas as the Bond girl and Rami Malek as the villain of the story. Not a bad farewell.
That Tom Cruise is fit as a fiddle is obvious from his production for 2021. 'Top Gun: Maverick' brings back the adventures of Maverick, Ice Man (yes, Val Kilmer is back too) and company. However, they are now a veteran generation of pilots who will have to give way to the likes of Miles Teller.
The shooting of 'Tomb Raider 2' is one of many productions paralyzed by the coronavirus, so its 2021 release date may change. However, the success of Alicia Vikander's Lara Croft is almost guaranteed in this second movie.
Whoever thought that the 'Saw' saga was over, can now see that it is still very much alive. Chris Rock is the driving force and protagonist of a story that seeks to revitalize the franchise. To achieve this, he has turned to Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed three of the best movies in the saga. Just released, it was one of the widely anticipated movies of 2021.
Bringing together Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot may not have been easy or cheap, but Netflix has succeeded. And they've done it to tell a story of art theft and chases that is most entertaining.
This prequel to 'The Sopranos' will tell the story of Tony Soprano's childhood. The film will feature Michael Gandolfini, while Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Ray Liotta and Vera Farmiga will also be there.
Jared Leto parks the Joker to get into the skin of another villain: 'Morbius'. Despite being an enemy of Spider-Man, he will have his own origin story, which recounts how Doctor Morbius tried to cure the disease in his blood and became a vampire. Leto will be accompanied by Matt Smith and Jared Harris. This movie was widely anticipated for 2021 but has been pushed back to 2022.
