Jason Momoa's Latin lover

Who would have thought that the Hawaiian Jason Momoa would have chosen Japan as the place to let the world know about his relationship with Adria Arjona, a Puerto Rican actress?

It was through his Instagram account, where the Aquaman actor confirmed that there is something more than friendship between him and Ricardo Arjona's daughter.

He showed the world hise relationship status with a series of photos from his Japan getaway. They included two photos of himself (44) and Adria Arjona (32) together, smiling and hugging.

This new relationship comes after almost four years of separation and divorce proceedings from Lisa Bonet. She is his ex-wife from whom he separated in 2020, but whose legal divorce they signed in early 2024.

The pair met on the set of 'Sweet Girl' (2021), a Netflix film in which they played a couple.  The husband (Momoa) loses his wife (Arjona) after a big pharma company refuses to give her an experimental treatment.

At the time, Adria Arjona was married to lawyer Edgardo Canales. Everything indicates that their separation is a fact, but the actress is very closed about her private life - or, at least she has been until now.

The truth is that this unexpected romance comes at the best professional moment for both performers. On the one hand, Jason Momoa has established himself as one of Hollywood's hottest stars.

In recent years, the actor has been DC's Aquaman, Dante Reyes in 'Fast X' and Duncan Idaho in 'Dune'. After springing to fame in television, he left a Khal Drogo for the big screen.

For her part, Adria Arjona also has a more than estimable filmography, with titles such as 'Triple Frontier', '6 Underground', 'Morbius' and 'Hitman', her latest project, starring Glen Powell (in the photo).

And just like her current partner, the San Juan actress can boast of having appeared in series of the calibre of 'Person of Interest', 'Narcos', 'True Detective', 'Good Omens', she even got to play Dorothy in the misunderstood 'Emerald City'.

The question is: what were they doing in Japan? Basically, they were taking advantage of the filming of 'On the Roam', the series in which Jason Momoa rides around the world on a Harley-Davidson. Not so bad.

And if there was any doubt about their romance, the message accompanying Jason Momoa's photos makes it clear what's between them. "Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind," he wrote. "We're so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor."
