Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg’s EGOT includes an Oscar for 'Ghost,' a Grammy for 'Whoopi Goldberg: Direct from Broadway,' a Tony for producing 'Thoroughly Modern Millie,' and an Emmy for hosting 'The View.' More than just an award winner, she's also hosted the Oscars several times!

Tim Rice

Lyricist Tim Rice earned his EGOT through his work on 'The Lion King,' 'Evita,' and 'Aladdin.' He won Oscars for songs from 'The Lion King' and 'Aladdin,' Grammys for 'Evita' and 'The Lion King,' Tonys for 'Evita' and 'Aida,' and an Emmy for 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.'

Andrew Lloyd Webber

Andrew Lloyd Webber completed his EGOT with musicals like 'The Phantom of the Opera,' 'Cats,' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar.' John Legend

John Legend’s EGOT includes an Oscar for "Glory" from 'Selma,' a Grammy for his debut album 'Get Lifted,' an Emmy for 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,' and a Tony for co-producing 'Jitney.' He is also known for his activism and philanthropy. He’s also a social justice advocate and one of People magazine's S e x i e s t Men Alive!

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn’s EGOT includes an Oscar for 'Roman Holiday,' a Grammy for 'Audrey Hepburn's Enchanted Tales,' an Emmy for 'Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn,' and a Tony for 'Ondine.' Besides her acting accolades, she was a dedicated humanitarian with UNICEF.

Robert Lopez

Robert Lopez won his EGOT with his musical contributions to 'The Book of Mormon,' 'Frozen,' and 'Avenue Q.' He earned his Oscar for "Let It Go" from 'Frozen,' Grammys for 'The Book of Mormon' and 'Frozen,' an Emmy for 'The Wonder Pets,' and multiple Tonys for 'Avenue Q' and 'The Book of Mormon.' He’s the youngest EGOT winner and the only person to win each award more than once.

Mel Brooks

The comedic genius, Mel Brooks, achieved his EGOT with an Oscar for 'The Producers,' Grammys for 'The 2000 Year Old Man' and 'The Producers,' a Tony for 'The Producers,' and Emmys for 'Mad About You.' His work has left an indelible mark on comedy and entertainment.

Mike Nichols

Mike Nichols won his EGOT for his diverse work in film, theater, and television. He earned an Oscar for 'The Graduate,' Grammys for 'An Evening with Mike Nichols and Elaine May,' multiple Tonys for productions like 'Death of a Salesman,' and Emmys for 'Wit' and 'Angels in America.'

Elton John

In 2024, Sir Elton became an EGOT winner after winning his first Emmy for 'Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.' He also won five Grammys, two Academy Award wins for "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from 'The Lion King' and "(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again" from 'Rocketman,' alongside his Tony award for best original score for musical Aida.

Alan Menken

Alan Menken's melodies have enchanted generations, winning his EGOT through Disney classics like 'The Little Mermaid,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' and 'Aladdin.' He earned Oscars for songs in 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Beauty and the Beast,' Grammys for 'Aladdin' and 'Pocahontas,' a Tony for 'Newsies,' and an Emmy for the song "Waiting in the Wings" from 'Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.'

Viola Davis

In 2023, she became the 18th ever EGOT winner when she snagged the Grammy for the audiobook of her autobiography 'Finding Me.' The Juilliard-trained actress already had two Tony Awards, an Emmy for acting in 'How to Get Away with Murder,' and a best-supporting actress award for 'Fences.'

Jonathan Tunick

Orchestrator Jonathan Tunick earned his EGOT by enhancing musical scores. He won an Oscar for 'A Little Night Music,' a Grammy for 'No One Is Alone' from 'Into the Woods,' an Emmy for 'Night of 100 Stars,' and a Tony for 'Titanic,' working closely with legends like Stephen Sondheim.

Rita Moreno

Rita Moreno achieved her EGOT with an Oscar for 'West Side Story,' a Grammy for 'The Electric Company Album,' a Tony for 'The Ritz,' and an Emmy for 'The Muppet Show.' She’s one of the few performers to have also won a Peabody Award.

Scott Rudin

Producer Scott Rudin (center) earned his EGOT with an Oscar for 'No Country for Old Men,' multiple Tony Awards for shows like 'The Book of Mormon,' an Emmy for 'He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin',' and a Grammy for 'The Book of Mormon' cast recording. Fun fact: he started his career as a casting agent at just 16 years old and started his own company instead of going to college.

The singer, actress, talk show host and producer is the youngest competitive EGOT winner to date. She rounded the grand slam in 2022, when she won a Tony for 'A Strange Loop.' She also has two Grammys for her albums, a Daytime Emmy for 'Baba Yaga,' and her Oscar for Best Actress in her unforgettable role in 'Dreamgirls.'

Marvin Hamlisch

Marvin Hamlisch won his EGOT through a combination of film scores, theater, and television. He received Oscars for 'The Way We Were' and 'The Sting,' Grammys for 'The Way We Were' and 'A Chorus Line,' a Tony for 'A Chorus Line,' and an Emmy for his work on 'Barbra: The Concert.'

John Gielgud

Celebrated for his Shakespearean roles, John Gielgud completed his EGOT with an Emmy for 'Summer's Lease.' Helen Hayes

Known as the "First Lady of American Theatre," Helen Hayes earned her EGOT through a remarkable career spanning 70 years. She won two Oscars, including one for 'The Sin of Madelon Claudet,' a Grammy for 'Great American Documents,' a Tony for 'Happy Birthday,' and an Emmy for her performance in 'Schlitz Playhouse of Stars.'

Richard Rodgers

The first person to win an EGOT, Richard Rodgers achieved this feat with his groundbreaking work in musical theater. He won an Oscar for the song "It Might as Well Be Spring" from 'State Fair,' multiple Grammys including one for 'The Sound of Music,' several Tonys for works like 'South Pacific,' and an Emmy for 'Winston Churchill: The Valiant Years.' His song "Blue Moon" also became a rock 'n' roll hit in the 1950s!

His voice work as Darth Vader and Mufasa is legendary, but did you know he overcame a childhood stutter?

Barbra Streisand

Barbra Streisand's EGOT includes an Oscar for 'Funny Girl,' Grammys for 'The Barbra Streisand Album' and 'Guilty,' an Emmy for 'Barbra: The Concert,' and a special Tony Award.
