A strange night in Argentina

What was meant to be a fun night with friends, dinner, and tranquility for Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, has ended up dominating headlines around the world.

A stormy evening

As reported by 'La Nación,' the actress and the model were having dinner in a restaurant in Buenos Aires. As they left the place, they were overwhelmed by (one or more) paparazzi. And that's when trouble started.

Untimely aggression

As the photojournalist, Pedro Alberto Orquera, told 'La Nación', the male companions of the two celebrities beat him up.

Serious consequences

The result of the beating was a fractured left elbow, a considerable head injury, a complaint with the local police, and two detainees.

It happened in Patagonia Sur

Let's get into the details. The opening scene is idyllic: Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne are having dinner on Saturday night at an exclusive restaurant in Buenos Aires. It's called Patagonia Sur. Some friends have joined them too.

At the exit, everything got messed up

Dinner ends, the gang goes out into the street and Pedro Alberto Orquera is waiting to take pictures of the celebrities. According to the photojournalist himself, some of the group began to chase him across the street to prevent the man from taking pictures.

Chasing the paparazzo

"I suffered a terrible stumble when I got chased," the photographer told 'La Nación'. "At one point I felt like someone kicked me and pushed me. I landed on the floor and luckily I fell on my arm and not on my head," he says.

'I broke my whole arm'

The photographer said that he lost a lot of blood and that his "bone was exposed." In fact, he tells 'La Nación,' "I broke my whole arm and the camera flew through the air." He also claims he had to undergo surgery.

Police intervene

With this story, Pedro Alberto Orquera went to the police, and, as The Daily Mail reports, two alleged aggressors were identified.

Two detainees

According to the British newspaper, the suspects are Jac Rhys Hopkins, film producer and friend of Margot Robbie; and Josey MacNamara Callum, camera assistant and also a friend of the Australian actress.

Arrested and awaiting trial

Both friends of the actress have been arrested and charged with battery. They will have to face trial in Buenos Aires in the coming days or weeks.

Bad times for Cara?

The incident comes just days after Margot Robbie was seen leaving Cara Delevingne's London home, crying undisguisedly. There have been reports of Cara Delevingne's bad mental health and substance abuse.

Worried friends

In recent weeks, information about the model's health status, her addictions, and her appearance has worried Cara Delevingne's inner circle.

The images of 'Burning Man'

Everything got blown up after some images, published exclusively by The Daily Mail showed the model in a disheveled state. She was celebrating the 'Burning Man' Festival in Los Angeles but didn't look all too well.

Friends from a movie set

Margot Robbie, a close friend of Cara Delevingne since 2016, when they worked together on a DC film, is often by her side, trying to redirect the situation.

A failed getaway

The Argentinian trip may have been a way for the friends to unwind - and for Delevingne to recover from whatever has been bothering her - but obviously, with all the trouble in Buenos Aires, it has probably not been very relaxing.
